"What impressed me the most about working with ABC Nanny Source was the level of detail and organization in which such confidential information was presented. I received an extensive profile of each nanny candidate prior to her coming to my home for an interview. Once each nanny arrived at my door, I was fully relaxed because I felt I already knew the person in front of me! That’s how detailed these profiles were. The process was made very easy for our family and within a matter of days, I hired the perfect nanny for our children!"

Sandy's professional experience as a Kitsap County After School Nanny allows her to provide the exceptional care our families deserve!

“I am a shy yet very outgoing person once comfortable. I love spending time with and caring for children more than anything! I am a nanny because I genuinely enjoy providing children with the extra love and attention they need while their parents are unavailable. If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the Nanny profession over any other it would have to be because I simply enjoy my time spent with children. I have been serving in some form of childcare experience for over 6 years and can honestly say I love what I do! I feel that children are what make life a happier place. My goal as a Kitsap County After School Nanny is to provide a safe and fun learning environment for children of any age. I am willing to do housekeeping that includes light household cleaning, laundry, and cooking. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am silly, dedicated, outgoing, loving, and caring. Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include time set aside for school work, outdoor activities, sports, and indoor activities like reading or arts and crafts. If asked to describe the perfect family seeking a Nanny like me I would hope they would be a family who really loves and enjoys each other’s company.”

“I am currently the mother of a soon to be 10-month-old daughter, as well as mother to a 15-year-old son. I have the privilege of not being in the workforce yet with my youngest, second child. Nevertheless, I will soon be working on adding to my college degree & working at the same time. However, I still do currently use, as she is available, Sandy’s services with my youngest child and in all honesty, I have never stopped since I started with my oldest son at when he was about 6 years old. More so, Sandy has been a steadfast, important part of our family's life starting with my son and now with my daughter as well. I was introduced to Sandy, by a family member, whom was her neighbor, years ago, as a good candidate for occasional babysitting for my then younger son. Since that introduction, about 9 years ago (or slightly more), and my hiring her originally for small, short, babysitting jobs, the relationship has changed dramatically. She quickly showed she was a very responsible family oriented girl, and that she truly cared about children in all aspects. She is not only someone that I trust, one of only three, to be with my children for long periods of time, but she has over time become an honorary family member. My daughter simply loves her to death as Sandy has known from day one how to hold her, take care of her, and now as she's older plays with her as well. Sandy is truly capable of handling babies and children of all ages. I know that firsthand as well, because she has been my go to person to help with my son's birthday parties over the years, which included large groups of mixed aged children. She not only helped with the kids on the day of the party, I was always able to depend on her to help me with the odds and ends of planning the party throughout. She's very reliable, works well with others on projects and just overall has been invaluable to me. I could give you ten more pages of excellent examples of how Sandy has shown her merits as an excellent child care worker, but I will stick to the facts of what she has innately shown over the years. As a mother and an educated woman that has been in the health and science field, I know that Sandy is a top-notch candidate as a Kitsap County After School Nanny. Sandy is a young girl that is family oriented, academically inclined and at that she is quite intelligent and performs well academically. She is also fluently bilingual in Spanish. Sandy is very responsible, she communicates well with others, and she is able to work on any project/assignment independently, as well as work well with others. Her communication skills also are also very well in respect to conveying any information that needs to be made known regarding any specific child. She is very respectful to others at all times. Sandy has also always been very conscientious of her appearance. She's always been clean, well groomed, and it has always been obvious that she practices good hygiene and self -maintenance, which is important as a role model. Additionally, she also has shown that she has she practices the skills of being very sanitary and hygienic with children, which is very important to curb the spread of germs and illnesses. Sandy shows an innate understanding of children of all age groups, she deals well with them all, she is compassionate, caring, likes to make each child feel like that extra two minutes with her is their "special "time. She does not overstep her boundaries; she will go through the proper procedures and make sure that she doesn't do anything that may be misconstrued by a child or parent. Sandy is a very hard worker; she will go above and beyond her duties. She is motivated to work with children and enjoys being with them. She always carries a positive attitude always, as well as a great sense of humor which is very important with the little ones. Sandy has the physical energy that is needed to keep up with children and she uses it to motivate them as well, she stays calm under pressure, and she is an extremely intelligent girl, the common sense about what a child needs, which also comes from her own natural sense of what children want or need at that moment, this also comes into use when she suspects that something may be "off." Sandy out of her own interest has kept herself informed on many aspects of childcare and developments and practical matters that apply to children in general. She also possesses a great amount of patience, true motivation to care and help children, and most importantly I think the positivity, sense of humor and friendliness all combined with outstanding work ethics that go above and beyond. What you have is an excellent candidate, in Sandy, that is more than qualified, and would only serve you well as your nanny. She is truly worth her weight in gold to any mother or childcare institution that values employing only the best to handle the children that are in their care and they wish to hire only the best candidates. Sandy more than exceeds the expectations needed to take care of children and possesses qualities that will benefit your business and the children under your care. I hope I've given you some good insight into what kind of prospective employee you are looking at, as well as pause for thought, that Sandy is a golden find in the search for employees nowadays. There's a lot more good that can be said, but I think that you will pick up on it when meeting her.”

“It is my pleasure to recommend Sandy for her performance working as a group leader for the Boys and Girls Club proved that she will be a valuable addition to any family. I have known Sandy for three years in my capacity as Senior Group Leader and Unit Director at Boys and Girls Club. Sandy worked alongside and for me on various grade levels as a group leader, and based on her work, I would rank her as one of the best and most caring group leaders we have ever had. Sandy has worked year-round in our Afterschool program and Summer Camp program. If her performance in our company is a good indication of how she would perform in your family, she would be an extremely positive asset as a Kitsap County After School Nanny.”

“Sandy has worked in my home as a Kitsap County After School Nanny for over 4 years. During that time, I have had the satisfaction of seeing her grow from a high school student to a grown-up young lady currently enrolled in college. I believe that she is very competent and experienced. Sandy cared for my two daughters and my son, ages ten, seven, and three. She is very capable and always cares for the children unaccompanied, making meals for them, and taking them on little outings, to the park, and social gatherings. She is very flexible, and is able to engage the children in different types of play and crafts. I have always had the highest confidence in her skill and ability, her trustworthiness, judgment and maturity, and have always felt at ease leaving my kids in her care. My children constantly ask for her and always look forward to spending a day or evening with her. I wish her best of luck in her future endeavors.”
