"What impressed me the most about working with ABC Nanny Source was the level of detail and organization in which such confidential information was presented. I received an extensive profile of each nanny candidate prior to her coming to my home for an interview. Once each nanny arrived at my door, I was fully relaxed because I felt I already knew the person in front of me! That’s how detailed these profiles were. The process was made very easy for our family and within a matter of days, I hired the perfect nanny for our children!"

Aida is a professional Kitsap County Mother's Helper because it allows her the opportunity to be a positive role-model in a young child's life.

“Hello, my name is Aida. I was born in San Sebastian, Puerto Rico and I have lived in the area for the past 30 years. I am fluent in both English and Spanish. It has been my privilege to work with children for the past 25 years. I provided day care in my own home for 12 years until both of my children had entered school, and then I was afforded the opportunity to become the Spanish teacher at the school my children attended for 12 years. In that time, I was privileged to teach hundreds of children in grades kindergarten through 8th grade in my native language. I consider every one of these children to be my personal legacy, and cherish the memories I have of them. Many of them are college graduates and parents of the next generation, and these relationships are rekindled every time I see one of them in public settings. I currently teach ages five thru 7 in the children’s ministry at my church and thoroughly enjoy working with them. I consider the years I have spent nurturing children as an investment, giving a part of myself to each child as well as their families. Having worked with young children so many years, it is my personal belief that the best environment for growing children is their own home with the individual attention of a committed adult. Large day care centers may look wonderful with nice toys and beautiful facilities, but it is not home, and children can become lost in the crowd. This is why I would like to work as your Kitsap County Mother’s Helper, so that I may continue to have a positive influence on the next generation.”

“Aida ran a vibrant home daycare in which my two children attended for several years. My youngest was just 6 months old while my older son attend her program from ages 2-4yrs old. I loved the structure she provided as a Kitsap County Mother’s Helper, while allowing them flexibility - which allowed them to grow into confident individuals. Additionally, she was a great cook and my children even ate her vegetables! Aida was extremely accommodating when my two-year-old needed speech therapy. The therapist came to her house twice a week and worked with my daughter in a quiet room. She has a gentle way of communicating with parents and I appreciate her willingness to work with each child.”

“Aida has been on the staff of our school for the past 15 years. During that time, she has served as Spanish teacher in both our elementary and middle school classes. Aida has been part of the accreditation process, helped choose curriculum, and much more than can be listed. I have had the privilege of knowing Aida on a personal level as well as professionally. She would be an asset to any family in need of a Kitsap County Mother’s Helper. Aida is one of those employees that you wish you could clone.”

“I have known Aida both personally and professionally for more than twenty-five years. Aida was first a friend and fellow church member. She cared for both of my children in her home daycare for four years while I was at work. Aida was very dependable and easy to work with in our parent/caregiver relationship. Aida later became employed as the Spanish language teacher at a Christian school where I also taught. Again, she taught both of my children through the eighth grade. As a teacher, my children both respected and learned well from Aida. She worked at the school in several capacities. Aida is very dedicated to the care of the children in her charge. She truly desires the best for them and is willing to go “the extra mile” as a Kitsap County Mother’s Helper to see that they are loved and secure. Both of my children who are now young adults continue to maintain a very positive and caring relationship with Aida.”
