"What impressed me the most about working with ABC Nanny Source was the level of detail and organization in which such confidential information was presented. I received an extensive profile of each nanny candidate prior to her coming to my home for an interview. Once each nanny arrived at my door, I was fully relaxed because I felt I already knew the person in front of me! That’s how detailed these profiles were. The process was made very easy for our family and within a matter of days, I hired the perfect nanny for our children!"

Bonnie chooses our Nanny Agency in Kitsap County because she can give the children the direct attention they deserve!

“I love working with children. I am artistic, and I love doing artwork and crafts with children. I also tutor children in reading, and have been teaching children and adolescents since 1991. I want to be a nanny because I want to work for a good family, and be able to help the children with homework, do art projects, etc. I believe I will be a great nanny and be a great service to a caring and friendly family. If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the nanny profession over any other it would have to be because I am currently a 2-year toddler teacher working with 9 students. I am enjoying the work, it is very rewarding, however I would much rather work for a family and only a few children at a time. I am a caring individual with a great many talents and I believe would be a tremendous asset to any family. I have been serving in some form of childcare experience for over 22 years and can honestly say I love what I do! I feel the children are special individuals who are capable of learning everything that is offered to them, within reason, based on their individual makeup. Children, when given an opportunity, can flourish, in a creative and nourishing environment. My goal with a Nanny Agency in Kitsap County is to grow with a family and become an important person in that child’s life. I am willing to do housekeeping that includes light cleaning. I can also cook, organize papers, and the children’s belongings. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am caring, creative, nurturing, enthusiastic, and educating. Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include homework, reading, board games, crafts/art, writing. If asked to describe the perfect family seeking a nanny like me, I would hope they would be creative, clean/organized, punctual, nurturing.”

“Bonnie has been employed as a Special Education Teacher, Reading Specialist, and Reading Tutor at our School for many years. Our school is an Approved Private School for children with outstanding emotional, behavioral, and cognitive disabilities. Students who attend the school often have long histories of school failure. They frequently present with extensive gaps in their knowledge base along with wildly fluctuating skills, poor ability to focus, diagnosed, and undiagnosed learning disorders and, in most cases performance profiles that are significantly below expected grade level. As a result, teachers and specialists must be highly skilled in designing lessons that are engaging and authentic yet specific to their learning needs and styles, easily manageable and sensitive to their past school experiences. As the Supervisor of Special Education and Bonnie’s administrative supervisor, I have had the pleasure of observing her daily performance as a special education teacher, as a reading specialist working alongside the teacher, and as a reading tutor working one to one with students outside of the classroom. Bonnie works individually and cooperatively with teachers and classroom assistants modeling effective reading strategies for small group and whole group lessons. In partnership with the classroom teacher, she is responsible for selecting materials that are highly relevant to and that grab and hold students' interests. She develops and coordinates reading activities that build on student's prior experiences and knowledge and that connect to earlier learning in an effort to promote reading enjoyment and facilitate mastery. In addition to providing direct and guided instruction Bonnie administers reading assessments and screening instruments to evaluate students' abilities in reading, to assist in the diagnosis of learning disorders and to help teachers write appropriate lesson plans and IEP goals. She diligently monitors student reading progress and provides critical feedback on a regular basis to students, teachers, and parents and, when necessary, is able to help teachers design and implement remediation plans and develop interventions when progress is lagging. Bonnie keeps thorough and up to date records. She is rarely absent and always willing to do whatever needs to be done. She seeks and welcomes feedback about her own performance, and is eager to improve her professional practice through participation in professional development activities. Bonnie is an enthusiastic educator and a fine person to have at a Nanny Agency in Kitsap County.”

“I have had the pleasure of working with Bonnie at several different positions. I have always found her to be a hardworking and dedicated teacher. The students are a diverse and a difficult population to teach. Bonnie worked as the Reading Teacher and also Reading Consultant for my classroom. She had great success relating to their individual needs and working with the students to improve their skills. She engaged them in her creative small group lessons, as well as the literature she chose for their reading levels. Bonnie is a compassionate and inventive teacher who employs both patience and current methods of teaching with her Nanny Agency in Kitsap County. She connects extremely well with her students, as well as with staff and faculty.

“Bonnie was a colleague of mine for eight years while I was employed at an approved private school for children with severe emotional, behavioral, and cognitive disabilities. I worked with Bonnie directly in her four classrooms that she was assigned to as the Reading Teacher and Reading Consultant. As the Speech and Language Therapist, we were responsible for collaborating her literacy assignments with my Speech and Language lessons concerning the oral comprehension aspect of the books she chose. I found Bonnie to be a caring and compassionate individual, working patiently with a difficult and trying population. Her lessons were creative and effective, providing direct and guided instruction to her classrooms and the students who she also tutored. She diagnosed reading disabilities and was able to develop and implement interventions when needed with her students. Bonnie is an enthusiastic educator and an outstanding individual for a Nanny Agency in Kitsap County.”

“Bonnie is a very sweet lady with a Nanny Agency in Kitsap County who enjoys people of all ages. She is fun, has a great sense of humor, and truly cares about her job, family and friends.”

“I have known Bonnie for over 30 years. I have seen her raise her own child and care and support my children. I have observed her being a volunteer mentor to a student. I am familiar with her academic training and job experience. Since I administer programs for developmentally delayed infants, toddlers, and pre-school age children and she has been a special educator, we often share resource information with each other in our Nanny Agency in Kitsap County.”
