“Hello; my name is Brandie! I have been in the Nanny Agency in Tacoma for many years and it is in my nature to nurture. I have made great relations with all of the families I have worked with. I am proactive, very loving and patient. I grew up helping to raise my two younger sisters as well, so I have been caring for children for as long as I can remember! I enjoy the experience of growing with a family whom you have been with for several years. I love children, adore the elders, animals, and taking care of the entire family unit. I have been a caretaker in some manor my whole life. I am compassionate, calming, have experience with special needs (Down Syndrome, ADD, Anxiety Disorder) and in addition to childcare I have been a professional housekeeper/personal assistant for over 25 years. If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the Nanny profession over any other it would have to be because I find it to be so rewarding! Family is a beautiful structure and I have a lot to offer, so it brings me great joy being able to watch children develop, aid in their discovery, teaching them, and helping them grow into strong, helpful, polite adults. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am nurturing, optimistic, health-conscious, loving, and fun-loving. Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include healthy lunches, breakfasts or dinners, arts and crafts, play time, reading, play dates with other families, and nurturing the children’s creative sides. If asked to describe the perfect family seeking a nanny like me I would hope they would be close-knit, caring, and welcoming.”

With a family of 5, my husband and I, as well as our 3 children needed a very well-spoken hard worker who could take direction with ease along with taking charge of my home. Thorough housekeeping was most important, as was driving and caring for my children, and even our pets!
