"What impressed me the most about working with ABC Nanny Source was the level of detail and organization in which such confidential information was presented. I received an extensive profile of each nanny candidate prior to her coming to my home for an interview. Once each nanny arrived at my door, I was fully relaxed because I felt I already knew the person in front of me! That’s how detailed these profiles were. The process was made very easy for our family and within a matter of days, I hired the perfect nanny for our children!"

Christina adores being a Pierce County Personal Assistant and having the chance to provide individualized care for each child.

“I am a fun, caring person whose passion is working with children. I have chosen to be a nanny because I love children. If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the nanny profession over any other it would have to be because I love working with children. I have been serving in some form of childcare experience for over 10 years and can honestly say I love what I do! I feel the children are curious and free. My goal as a Pierce County Personal Assistant is to utilize my teaching skills and work with children. I am able to do housekeeping that includes vacuuming, dishes, dusting, and laundry. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am caring, passionate, hard-working, friendly, and responsible. I would include arts and crafts, movement, cooking (if possible), educational games, etc. If asked to describe the perfect family seeking a nanny like me I would hope they would be loving, empathetic, makes me feel like a part of the family, and appreciative.”

“Christina is a genuinely kind and hard-working individual who shows affection to the children and staff members at every school. I co-taught with Christina in many kindergarten through 12th grade classrooms as a daily substitute. Christina has a warm sense of humor that all children can relate to, and the children sincerely like as well as respects her. In order to promote student learning, she designs creative and effective lessons based on individual learning styles. Consequently, her students respond with enthusiasm, cooperation, and remain on task. Christina volunteered to be a "mystery reader" and teach my first grade students about St. Patrick's Day. The lesson she planned was extremely captivating, and my students still speak of the material they learned. Both the students and I found Christina to be warm, friendly, and engaging. She set firms limits for the students, and would immediately redirect students if necessary. I would confidently welcome her back to my classroom. In meeting Christina, you will discover her passion, energy and commitment toward teaching. She is a dedicated Pierce County Personal Assistant who works hard, is flexible, and fosters a love for learning in every child.”

“Christina was in a full day kindergarten class. Christina had the opportunity to teach all subjects in the kindergarten class. The students were very receptive to her clear directions and caring manner. From day one, her enthusiastic attitude facilitated her easy transition into observing, participating, leading, supporting — whatever was needed. She engaged the class in strong academic lessons and often reviewed material in games and other activities, which the students thoroughly enjoyed. One of the strongest attributes I observed was her willingness to try different techniques, materials and modes of instruction- even dressing up as a hero for one lesson! Christina used the smart board and led centers on the computers. She participated in parent conferences, fire drills, bus duty and PLCs. She also subbed in schools during the week that schools were closed. Christina will be a great Pierce County Personal Assistant to anyone!”

“I work with Christina, on almost a daily basis, and I am always impressed with her attitude, her actions when dealing with students and peers, and her approach to instruction. Christina is enthusiastic, creative, and infinitely flexible. She is quick to adapt to the many changes at the high school and at the same time she is able to put her own spin on things to enhance the intended instruction. Conversations with Christina over the past months reveal her to be a strong believer that all students, if given the appropriate opportunities, will raise to the expectations of their teachers through understanding of the material. Working as a supervisor puts Christina in the position of managing students, teachers, and the subsequent instruction delivered through emergency lesson plans. As with any position based on staff attendance, the day to day requirements varied and required flexibility and quick thinking; both handled well by her. Christina has been able to develop a productive and friendly relationship with staff and students through her ongoing positive dialogue and friendly interactions. Teachers knew that when they are absent from school the student work left in their emergency lesson plans will be completed properly by their students. Additionally, our staff knows that when they are assigned to assist in supervising students in the Central Study Hall they will arrive to an organized operation as planned and managed by Christina. Both students and staff appreciate the productive and professional approach Christina takes in the position and the positive attitude she projects. Christina consistently treats students and staff with respect, maintains confidentiality, and is careful to listen to both students and staff. Christina has been actively involved in the school and district for a long time. Christina is a graduate of the district schools, is currently one of the high school cheerleading coaches, has been an active teaching substitute in various schools, and was an Educational Assistant substitute for a few weeks at the middle school. In addition to working at the high school supervising the Central Study Hall Christina is utilized as a "floating sub" for our immediate period-by-period needs. I recommend Christina to you as a Pierce County Personal Assistant without reservation.”

“As a dedicated elementary education teacher for twelve years, I would highly recommend Christina. Christina is a responsible, enthusiastic and conscientious teacher. She made the transition from student teacher to taking on more classroom responsibilities swiftly and eagerly. Christina accepted all teaching duties and often took the initiative to do more than expected. Christina demonstrated concern for her students, good organizational skills and excellent planning with the Common Core Standards. Her rapport with children is excellent and her love of teaching is apparent on a daily basis. Christina relates well with her students. She has shown an exceptional quality and is always aware of their feelings and individual needs. She provided all of the children with positive reinforcement and motivated their interest in learning through hands-on and challenging activities. Christina is very hard-working and creative and brings a strong background to her classroom. She is mature, possesses an inner strength and is professional in demeanor. I know she will continue to be a life-long learner herself, which will make her a great educator. Christina would be an asset to anyone who is seeking a well-poised, competent Pierce County Personal Assistant.”

“Christina's responsibilities were to teach young children important life skills such as showing respect and using teamwork in an engaging environment which included karate, soccer, and fitness. Christina demonstrated responsibility, effective behavior management skills, and flexibility. She was hard working and had a true passion for teaching. She was caring and always put her students first. Over the course of her employment, I have had the pleasure of watching Christina grow from a high school student into a college graduate who holds a bright future as a Pierce County Personal Assistant. I highly recommend her for any position. Christina has mastered behavior management techniques that are greatly valued within the company. Since every class and every student was different, Christina's ability to adapt to meet the needs of the students was incredible. She kept her classes running smoothly with effective behavior management skills and engaging instruction. She was always up for challenge including a surprise demo lesson for 60 students in an after-school program. She handled the challenge with confidence. She always had a positive attitude and was a valuable employee. She was always willing to incorporate her ideas to help employees improve their teaching skills. Her experience was a prime example of the effectiveness of my company's philosophies brought into the classroom.”
