"What impressed me the most about working with ABC Nanny Source was the level of detail and organization in which such confidential information was presented. I received an extensive profile of each nanny candidate prior to her coming to my home for an interview. Once each nanny arrived at my door, I was fully relaxed because I felt I already knew the person in front of me! That’s how detailed these profiles were. The process was made very easy for our family and within a matter of days, I hired the perfect nanny for our children!"

Colleen in an ABC Queen Anne Live In Nanny!

“I consider myself an educator. If asked to describe in one sentence why I have chosen the nanny profession over any other profession it would be for multiple reasons, the first, I love children. The second, my experience as an educator gives me the practical skills I need to assist children in their development. Even an infant requires more than "watching". They need developmentally appropriate stimulation as well. I am very compassionate, organized person. I would be an asset to the whole family as a Queen Anne Live IN Nanny. I would do cooking, light cleaning, errand whatever it takes. When you come home the children would be happy, educationally stimulated, fed, exercised, the house would be clean, dinner on the table, and most errands taken care of. My philosophy is if children are in a safe environment where they are well supervised with the proper amount of nurturing, stimulation, stick to a predictable schedule, receive positive feedback, have expectation and positive loving adults in their lives they will be successful. My goals as a nanny are to show you my philosophy in action through interaction with your child. We will have fantastic days. We will always follow a set schedule. Breakfast-morning activity-walk/exercise- educational stimulation (developmentally appropriate for age of child /tummy time/crawling, reading/dancing etc..)/cleanup, lunch, nap, (I clean). This is a rough schedule depending on what family want me to do and age and likes of child. The afternoon would be like morning, more play and teaching second language if wanted, crafts, baking cookies, and so forth. I would then start dinner. I am a fabulous cook! I enjoy cooking. It's not work to me. I love helping others in this area. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives they would be; caring, honest, dedicated, loyal and funny. I am confident I can work with an infant, a child with a disability, multiples, or a toddler.”

“Colleen worked for our preschool for three years and was a great asset for our pre-school. Colleen's care for the students and teaching abilities, made her classroom environment welcoming for not-only the children, but the parents as they dropped off their child in the mornings, attended parent/teacher conferences, and picked up their child in the afternoon. Not to say, that any of our teachers lacked in skills, but Colleen was one of those employees that can be trusted and did not need supervision. She followed the company's policies, the state approved teaching curriculum, keep an organized classroom, and went beyond her responsibilities to ensure that her classroom ran accordingly and consistent with our standards. Colleen is bilingual, which was a plus. She can speak, read, and write fluently in two languages. Some of who Colleen is, is hard to put into words, I would like to end this by saying that her skills and techniques will be a great addition to your family and she would be a wonderful Queen Anne Live IN Nanny.”

“Throughout these years, I have been supervising and closely working with all the volunteers and interns from several educational institutions in the that in serving our community and tutoring program. The tutoring program seeks to respond to the inequality of the quality of education available to urban children and youth. Colleen was able to adapt well to our informal, down to earth, highly stressful, yet highly energizing educational setting. Our leaders and staff have appreciated her teaching skills, and her flexible and down to earth character. Her bilingual skills are essential to our effectiveness. Colleen has excellent administrative and communicative skills. She is an effective team player, as exhibited while working with our staff and our lay leaders. She works very well with people of different races, socio-economic levels, and faith traditions. Her compassionate caring nature draws people to her. I recommend Colleen as a Queen Anne Live IN Nanny without any reservations.”

“I believe Colleen would be an asset to any family searching for a Queen Anne Live IN Nanny. Colleen worked as a pre-k teacher during the day, and she would always share rewarding stories about her day. The children loved coming just to see her. They knew they would have fun. The mothers trusted her with their children. She would teach, play and nurture them while doing her job as well. The mothers were so appreciative and enjoyed coming. Colleen and her sister and mother are wonderful cooks. I have attended events they have catered in their home, at the shop as well as other events. They are able to spread joy and love through their food. Colleen to me has over the years demonstrated caring, dedication, and a genuine love for children and their families. I have observed in her personal life, she is a role model. She has an extended family that includes her sister and mother. I admire her relationship with her sister. They take wonderful care of Colleen’s daughters and their elderly mother.”

“Colleen is a highly qualified candidate for a Queen Anne Live IN Nanny position. While we both worked at the school - I was the floater and sub and I saw that Colleen was a dedicated, trustworthy, enthusiastic teacher. She always showed her dedication and commitment to the students and the school. Colleen is a hardworking, respectful, responsible individual. Colleen would be a tremendous person for the nanny, and I recommend her to you without hesitation.”
