"What impressed me the most about working with ABC Nanny Source was the level of detail and organization in which such confidential information was presented. I received an extensive profile of each nanny candidate prior to her coming to my home for an interview. Once each nanny arrived at my door, I was fully relaxed because I felt I already knew the person in front of me! That’s how detailed these profiles were. The process was made very easy for our family and within a matter of days, I hired the perfect nanny for our children!"

Rhonda chose to be an ABC Queen Anne Tutor because she loves creating positive learning experiences for the children!

"I am a kind and compassionate individual. I love working with children and teaching them to become responsible citizens. My goal as a Queen Anne Tutor is to create a nurturing environment and to encourage children to maximize their potential. If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the nanny profession over any other, it would have to be because I like to work closely with children and provide them with one-on-one support. Many classroom teachers are unable to provide the one-on-one support because of the large classroom sizes. I believe children perform better when they have someone to work directly with them. I have served in some form of childcare experience for years and can honestly say I love what I do! I feel the children are special little people with their own individual personalities. My goal as a nanny is to provide a nurturing environment where children can grow and learn. I am willing to do housekeeping that includes washing the dishes, vacuuming, and cleaning up after the children. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am caring, enthusiastic, kind, nurturing, and dedicated. Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include educational lessons (reading, writing, arithmetic, Spanish) according to the children's needs. I would also take children on day trips, such as the library, movies, zoo, amusement park, playground, museum, and other places. If asked to describe the perfect family seeking a nanny like me I would hope they would be caring, understanding, kind, and easy to work with.

“Rhonda has been completing an internship for Elementary Education for first to eighth grades. The first two months, Rhonda observed classes for k-5 and 8th grades. She asked the teachers questions and helped in the 4th grade. In the month of November, she taught, tutored, and mentored a young girl in the 2nd grade that had an IEP (academic). She concentrated on her reading, phonics, and math skills. She also incorporated effective study and memorization technique which help this student to comprehend what she was reading. Rhonda motivated this student to love learning. She also has taught and tutored a young boy in the 7th grade with an IEP (academic/slight emotional challenges). He was given different manipulative and verbal instruction in the subjects of science, math, and reading. This student's academic and self-esteem has improved greatly since the beginning of the school year. Rhonda also taught a computer lesson with the concentration on science with the second grade. She presented a comprehensive written and verbal lesson plan. She kept the student’s attention and gave an informative lesson. Rhonda has been a great asset to our school by teaching and tutoring two students with learning challenges. She is caring and passionate about teaching and will be a phenomenal Queen Anne Tutor.”

“I have known Rhonda for approximately 6 months at our local Intermediate School and I highly recommend her for any position as a Queen Anne Tutor. She has volunteered her time to tutor some of our third-grade students in Reading and Math. Rhonda has a number of strengths. She is always interested in supporting others. For example, when my class had our third-grade class trip, she volunteered her time to chaperone some of the students in my classroom. She was helpful in making our school trip enjoyable and safe.”

“As a Faculty Supervisor for Student Teachers, a retired school administrator and graduate school instructor with over thirty-seven years’ experience in K-12 education, I have had the opportunity to work closely with many young men and women preparing as educators. What sets Rhonda apart is that she possesses the most important attributes for success in the classroom: attention to preparation, high energy and focus in the classroom, love of children, and dedication to student achievement. I believe her greatest accomplishment during her internship was demonstrated in her growth in all of these teaching areas, as well as the rapport she established with her cooperating teacher and professional colleagues in the school. Any family that hires her as their Queen Anne Tutor will be lucky to have her.”

“Rhonda will be a very dependable and trustworthy Queen Anne Tutor. We attend the same church and she holds the position of Trustee and often is called upon to teach Sunday school for the children. She interacts very well with the children and they love it whenever she teaches. Her calming and peaceful personality seems to draw the children to her and they are always happy to be around her.”
