"What impressed me the most about working with ABC Nanny Source was the level of detail and organization in which such confidential information was presented. I received an extensive profile of each nanny candidate prior to her coming to my home for an interview. Once each nanny arrived at my door, I was fully relaxed because I felt I already knew the person in front of me! That’s how detailed these profiles were. The process was made very easy for our family and within a matter of days, I hired the perfect nanny for our children!"

Sharon loves being a Ravenna Governess because her creativity and talent shine through as a professional Nanny!

“I have been a childcare provider for the past eleven years. I have had experiences working for five wonderful families, with children ranging in ages from six months old to twelve years old. I am organized, fun loving and patient! I am also a member of the International Nanny Association and have done workshops in Early Child Development Programs, including a program dealing with difficult children. If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the Nanny profession over any other, it would have to be because of my love for children and the joy I feel being around the them! I truly love my profession, and that is what it is to me; I am a very proficient childcare provider, who enjoys the developmental stages of a toddler, when they are now about to grasp the concept of new things. I enjoy planning fun educational activities for the little ones and watching their excitement when they get it right. I have been serving in some form of childcare experience for over eleven years and can honestly say I love what I do! I feel the children are joys and treasures. My goal as a Nanny is to implement the best possible care to children of all ages, to manage busy schedules, to organize activities, to educate, to have a beneficial effect on the children development, and to provide a fun and loving environment to the young ones in my care. I am willing to do housekeeping that includes light cleaning, children’s laundry, and errands. Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include an organized schedule pertaining to the children activities, introduction to the different fun and educational activities that are available to children of all ages. If asked to describe the perfect family seeking a Nanny and Ravenna Governess like me, I would hope they would be a loving, outgoing family that loves doing things together!”

“Sharon is incredible! She loves my children and they love having her come over. She does not allow a lot of TV watching and assists them in participating in activities and arts and crafts. She is quite refreshing to have! Sharon provided as needed childcare for us and has been very reliable and very accommodating to our children and of our schedule. She currently works full-time as a Ravenna Governess and so she was only available to assist us in the evenings and on weekends. We used her regularly and hate to see her move away.”

“Sharon was our Ravenna Governess for one year. We have four children, one girl who is 10 years old, and three boys ages 8 years old, 6 years old and 3 years old. Sharon was always flexible with her schedule! In our time together, she helped us through a move to another state. She kept everyone in her routine and we were very pleased with her work ethic and overall interaction with our children. Her general responsibilities included taking the children to and from school, general driving to children’s activities and participating in children’s activities, household laundry, the making of lunch and dinner for the children, and keeping the house clean. We found Sharon to be very honest, loyal, and hardworking and we would highly recommend her in any future Nanny positions. I know that our children especially our three-year-old, Mitchell, will greatly miss her.”

“Sharon has worked as a Ravenna Governess for our family for almost 5 years. She started with us when our daughters were 2 ½ and 6 months old and has watched as they have grown into school age children. She has become a valued member of our extended family and we regret that she is relocating and will have to leave us. Sharon has performed a wide variety of childcare tasks for our family and was responsible for feeding, bathing, the girls' laundry etc. When they were younger, she frequently took the girls to the park and to a variety of toddler classes such as music, gymnastics and French. As the children have gotten older, she has also helped more with errands and other household tasks. She proactively organizes play dates, takes the girls to the library and has attended school functions such as visiting days and the book fair. She reads extensively with the girls, organizes and participates in arts and crafts and does other special activities such as baking a special theme birthday cake for the girls. Prior year's culinary masterpieces have included soccer balls, teddy bears and beach scenes. Sharon is safety conscious and has been a responsible driver taking the kids (and frequently their friends) to after school and other activities. Sharon is well regarded by the other moms and is loved by all of their kids. She has filled in for friends in emergencies - picking up their children from school and/or taking them for extended play dates as needed. We have trusted her for overnight trips for business and she has taken care of the girls on those rare instances we were going on a personal trip. Sharon has been reliable and flexible when our work or travel scheduled changes. Sharon genuinely enjoys children and takes her responsibilities as a caregiver seriously. She is patient, calm and maintains a positive attitude. She is compassionate and caring but will be firm and has maintained our family rules. Sharon is easy going and we have got along well over the years. Sharon cares for the girls personally and worries if they seem out of sorts or are upset. The girls in turn can't wait to see Sharon on Monday morning and tell her all about their weekend and get their morning hugs. Sharon has been a fabulous nanny and we can't say enough about how sorry we are to have her go!”

“I have known Sharon for about twenty-seven years, and we are both childcare providers. She is a very loving and caring individual who enjoys her profession! Sharon truly loves being around children and teaching them new and fun things! I highly recommend her as a Ravenna Governess in your family!”
