"What impressed me the most about working with ABC Nanny Source was the level of detail and organization in which such confidential information was presented. I received an extensive profile of each nanny candidate prior to her coming to my home for an interview. Once each nanny arrived at my door, I was fully relaxed because I felt I already knew the person in front of me! That’s how detailed these profiles were. The process was made very easy for our family and within a matter of days, I hired the perfect nanny for our children!"

As a Ravenna Tutor, Donna gives the children in her care an enjoyable and quality learning experience!

“I am outgoing, happy, and a very friendly person. I have a great personality. I am always trying to please others. My goal is to find a compatible family to work with that would appreciate the qualities I have to offer. I want to be a nanny because working with children is my passion. If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the nanny profession over any other, it would have to be because when you work with children it doesn't feel like work, because I enjoy what I'm doing and making a difference in the family’s lives. I have been serving in some form of childcare experience for over 20 years and can honestly say I love what I do! I feel that children are our foundation to the future, and as a caregiver I would hope to make a difference in humanity by helping to raise children with a positive and loving environment. My goal as a nanny is to provide a loving and nurturing environment for the children and their family. My goal is to establish a wonderful open relationship with the family I care for. I am willing to do housekeeping that includes dishes, laundry for the children, and meals for the children. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am a caring, energetic, thoughtful, personable, and a trustworthy person. Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include arts & crafts, playing outside, going for walks, playing games, singing songs, and reading books. If asked to describe the perfect family seeking a nanny and Ravenna Tutor like me, I would hope they would care about my family and I, as much as I care for theirs, and to also have good communication skills and work together as a team.”

“My husband and I met Donna walking our dog one day. When we realized she has a daycare, we instantly knew she was the right person for our child. My daughter began daycare at 4 months old and always had a smile when dropping her off. The same smile was there at pick up on a daily basis. Knowing that I never had to worry about my baby during office hours at a stressful job was more than I could ask for. My child settled into a routine quickly and has truly developed and matured while staying at Donna's during the week. We couldn't ask for anymore from a caregiver and knowing that my child has a smile every day at pickup is the most important thing for us. We highly recommend her for a position as a Ravenna Tutor.”

“We are very happy to recommend Donna as a child care provider and Ravenna Tutor. She began caring for our son when he was 5 months old. Donna is very loving, responsible, and professional. The day care area in her home is clean, well-lit, well organized, spacious, and full of toys. It was very important to us that our son was not left to play alone or watch TV as can happen in many home daycares. When the weather permits, Donna takes the kids outside. She has a great fenced-in yard with lots of outdoor toys. They also go for walks to the local park which is just a block away. The children are involved in a variety of activities during the day to stimulate and challenge them at all levels. Donna fully supported my desire to bring expressed breast milk each day for my son until he was a year old. She has always worked closely with me on what, how much and when to feed him. We also very much appreciate receiving the written progress reports that Donna provides daily. The reports detail the child's eating, nap and diaper changing schedule and also gives a brief description of the child's demeanor that day. Donna has been very observant of my son’s needs. She knows his personality and respects and nurtures his individuality. He is definitely thriving in this positive daycare environment. Since we cannot be home with him ourselves, it gives us great peace of mind to know our son is surrounded with love and security. We could not be more pleased with the care that has been given to our son.”

“Donna provided childcare for our daughter from 4 months old through just after 3 years old. We would wholeheartedly recommend Donna to any family looking for a Ravenna Tutor. Our daughter was always safe, well cared for, and happy in Donna’s care. Donna was flexible in working with our work schedules and allowed us to switch days during the week when necessary. She was also available last minute for additional days. Our daughter came home and would tell us about her day. She would explain the toys she played with and the games she played. She sang new songs and her ABC's that she learned in circle time with Donna. Very often she would present a colored picture that she created that day. We never worried about our daughter while she was in Donna’s care and felt confident her ability to care for our daughter.”

“When I gave birth to my twins, it was the happiest time of my life. Shortly after having them my job changed, and I was no longer able to work from home. This then presented a big challenge to my family, for now I would have to find full time day care for them. Being a new mom, I didn't know who I would want to take care of my children. A friend of mine told me about this wonderful lady who took care of her two kids as well. When I met Donna for the first time, I was overjoyed with the fact that I had found the perfect person to help take care of my babies. Donna provided a clean, loving and educational environment for my children. She would always go above and beyond anything I would ever expect a day care provider to do. She helped me to potty train them, she educated them, and helped them when they were learning to crawl and walk. She provided weekly reports on how they were doing and any concerns she had about their development or health. My children spent over four years with Donna, and when they started full day preschool we were all devastated with the change that was about to come. Donna wasn't just a day care provider; she was like an Aunt to them. To this day, they still call her Aunt Donna. They always ask if we can visit her or go and have a play date with her. I believe that this is a true example of Donna's ability to help raise children. I wish I had more children, so I could keep Donna around! She would make a great addition as a Ravenna Tutor and Nanny to any family. I hope other families will get the chance to experience what my family has experienced for the last four years.”

“It is with great pleasure that I write this letter of recommendation for Donna for a position as a Ravenna Tutor. I will never forget bringing my daughter to Donna the first time at 6 weeks of age. Donna's warm and engaging personality lends itself well to making a new mother feel comfortable. Donna was so comforting and reassuring that I felt confident leaving my daughter in her care. This made the transition of going back to work so much easier. Donna always took the time to discuss any concerns I had about my daughter and I could always count on her to tell me about any issues that came up. Donna's 20+ years’ experience with children is quite evident. Her knowledge and expertise have been invaluable to our family. I would be remiss if I didn't mention the added bonus of the family environment. Donna has a wonderful family that graciously helps when extra pair of hands is needed. My daughter was quite demanding in the beginning months and really needed that extra attention and care. We don't know what we would have done without Donna throughout this first year. Her unselfish and diligent care of our daughter was truly a blessing and I confidently recommend her to anyone.”

“It is with great pleasure that I recommend my aunt, Donna, for her future career as a Ravenna Tutor. For the first several years of my life we lived together, so addition to my parent’s care, I had the benefit of having my aunt around, and to this day I still think of her as a second mom. Every time that my parents were scared & needed help, she was there. From as far back as I can remember, she was present for everything including; every hospital visit, bee sting, splinter, cold, school problem, dance recital, birthday party, headache and heartache and all while working in a daycare. This lead to her creating her own daycare, and also tending to her husband, and two children; there really isn't anything that she hasn't seen or experienced, and she always handles everything with patience, compassion and grace. I've always admired that about her. Her love for children is something that we both share. On my days off from school, I would ask my mom if I could go over to my aunts and "help" with the daycare. I wanted to learn everything, and from that she taught me how to change a diaper, write daily reports, feed and burp a baby and most importantly, how to interact and love the children that she cared for. With her many, many years of experience she still shows the same energy and excitement for working with children. I know that she will be an asset to any family.”

“I have known Donna for 7 years. She is a neighbor and a friend. During the past 7 years, I have witnessed Donna being a good friend and a good neighbor to the people in our community. She is a friendly and caring woman, always has a smile to greet you with, and willing to lend a helping hand. Donna is a loving and supportive mother to her two daughters and granddaughter. When Donna ran a day care out of her home, she was very loving and caring toward the children. I would see her take the children on walks and play outside. She was compassionate, patient and enjoyed the children in her care. At pick up time, I could see the parents enjoy chatting with her about their children's day. It was apparent she had a good relationship with them. With all the above mentioned qualities, I feel Donna would be an asset as a Ravenna Tutor in any family environment.”
