"What impressed me the most about working with ABC Nanny Source was the level of detail and organization in which such confidential information was presented. I received an extensive profile of each nanny candidate prior to her coming to my home for an interview. Once each nanny arrived at my door, I was fully relaxed because I felt I already knew the person in front of me! That’s how detailed these profiles were. The process was made very easy for our family and within a matter of days, I hired the perfect nanny for our children!"

Colleen serves proudly with other Snohomish County Nannies and is an excellent role model to children and nannies alike!

“I feel children need an environment to get one and one attention they need and deserve. I have many great ideas for activities and know many songs and have plenty of great books that I would love to share with a child. If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be among the Snohomish County Nannies over any other profession, it would have to be because I love watching children grow and learn new things. I can honestly say I love what I do! I believe that children are like sponges and love to learn new things from a very early age. My goal as a nanny is to care for a child like I would care for my own and work together with the parents. I am able to run errands and do light housekeeping like vacuuming and dusting. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives, I would say that I am honest, caring, kind, patient, and helpful.”

“Colleen proved herself to be an outstanding teacher with both pre-school and pre- kindergarten aged children. She consistently provided stimulating and challenging programming for the children and never lost sight of the individual needs of the children in her care. She treats all children with love and respect, and the children all respond to her with enthusiasm. She always maintains, a professional attitude with parents, and had a very good relationship with all of the families in our school. Colleen has proven herself to be one of the most honest, trustworthy and individual of high moral character out of the many Snohomish County Nannies. She has an excellent work ethic, always being reliable and dependable. She works well as part of a team, and is always considerate of her coworkers. She is well respected by her peers. I give Colleen the highest recommendation possible.”

“Colleen is an excellent educator, childcare provider, and representative of the Snohomish County Nannies. She is creative, and all went above and beyond her duties. Colleen is bright, energetic, articulate and extremely knowledgeable. Her passion and work ethic have been consistent, and she always goes above and beyond in her support and love with the children in her care.”

“I felt confident and comfortable knowing my daughter was in Colleen’s hands each day. My daughter was pleasantly and lovingly greeted each morning, and I knew she felt safe with her. As an educator myself, I noticed my daughter using higher levels of vocabulary and concepts than what is typical for her age. When I would ask her where she learned such things, she always responded, "Colleen told it to me." My daughter would also often pretend to be Colleen, so I knew she valued her and looked up to her as a positive role model. I always felt that Colleen was caring for or treating my daughter as if she was her own child and that is the most comforting and admiring that has been set for other Snohomish County Nannies.”

“Colleen was the lead teacher in the daycare center my son attended. She was responsible for feeding lunch and snack, taking him outside to play on the playground, and do enrichment activities like wordplays, music/dance, reading, coloring etc. She was responsible for supervising interactions between children, and making sure her classroom adhered to state standards. She got to know my son very well. She knew what his favorite toys and books were, the best way to distract him, or console him when I had to leave the classroom and he was upset. I never worried that my son wasn’t getting individual attention even though he was in a classroom setting. She was very attentive to daycare standards, and was truly dedicated to making my son and myself confident and comfortable while he was there. She kept me informed whenever there was a concern or incident with my son (getting a bruise from falling, etc.) and was always able to provide an explanation for what happened. She got to know my child, and worked to make sure that he learned a lot, and had fun while doing it, which is why she stands out as one of the best Snohomish County Nannies. She made sure to communicate with other teachers/care takers throughout the day so that information got communicated to everyone who interacted with my child.”

“Colleen and I worked in different rooms--she had 4 and 5 year olds and I worked with infants and then toddlers. At one point, Colleen had my daughter as a student, and my daughter loved her and had a very positive experience with her. Later, I worked as co-teacher with Colleen in the same room. She was always patient and kind with the children and was dependable and cooperative as a team mate. I truly enjoyed going to work every day and working closely with her. I eventually became the Assistant Director/Curriculum Coordinator and transferred to a different center. After a year, I decided that I preferred working directly with the children to administrative work, so I requested, and was granted, the opportunity to work with Colleen again. I can’t say enough good things about her. During the time I knew her, she was also a foster parent to some special needs children. She dealt with the stress of that situation while maintaining a calm and professional attitude in the work environment. I mention my experience to assure the reader that my regard for Colleen is professional, as well as personal. I would wholeheartedly recommend her, out of all the Snohomish County Nannies, for any position in child care.”
