"I love being around children and making them happy! Caring for them and watching them grow is such a wonderful gift. I am very family oriented and I incorporate and encourage family time, because I feel that it is very important for children to have plenty of memories and bonds with each other. It allows room for trust, honesty and being able to go to one another for help. I am a highly energetic person who loves arts and crafts and outdoor events. My goal is to continue as a career nanny to help become a supplement family member to a family and help them manage their household. If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the Nanny profession over any other it would have to be because I believe a Nanny is a very important person in a child and family’s life. As a Fairfax County Mother's Helper I understand that I am a role model that a child may mirror. I just think it is such a wonderful profession to be able to care and help each family live their lives much easier. I have been serving in some form of childcare experience for over 6 years and can honestly say I LOVE what I do! I feel that children are amazing to be around in my experience. I have long term relationships with each and every one of the families that I have worked for. My goal as a Nanny is to help run the family household smoothly and help the children grow accordingly to how their parents would love them to. I want to be that helping hand for both the parents and children. I am willing to do housekeeping that includes cooking, cleaning the kitchen, running errands, grocery shopping, and children’s laundry. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am responsible, prompt, caring, honest, and trustworthy. Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include outdoor events and activities, play dates, reading, arts and crafts, creative play, walks to the park, and if permitted movies. If asked to describe the perfect family seeking a Nanny like me I would hope they would be as caring, thoughtful and respectful as I will be toward them."

If she was still in the area, she would still being working for us."

"We have known Nou for about 13 years through church. In the past years Nou has helped us off and on various times. She has helped us with canning, sewing, and staying with the children at times when we could not be here. She has cared for our six children off and on as needed, but most frequently during the summers. We as parents appreciated her contribution to our home. As for the children, they always enjoyed when she came to our place, and when we needed to go away, we had no worries leaving our children under her care. As far as we are concerned, she will do a fine job caring for other children!"
