Nanny, berks

Families who have used Berks County Nanny Agencies prefer our ABC Nannies like Kathleen, who is flexible with the family's needs but maintains a structured environment for the children.

“I love playing with children and taking them out as much as possible to find new things to do such as puddle jumping after a rainstorm or going to a children’s museums that provide hands-on experiences. Reading and doing projects relating to the book are also one of their favorite activities to do with children! If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the Nanny profession over any other it would have to be because I would thoroughly enjoy sharing my experiences with another family and their children. I have been serving in some form of childcare experience for over twenty years and can honestly say I love what I do! I feel the children are fun and very interesting people. I find sometimes I learn more from them than they learn from me! My goal as a Nanny is to provide a safe, happy, and fun experience where we can both learn and try new things. I am willing to do housekeeping that includes doing dishes, cleaning up after the children, laundry, sweeping, and vacuuming. I am also willing to help with grocery shopping and errands. I think it is very important for the children to help out and participate in the household in order to be a vital member of the family. Helping to sort socks, setting the table and picking up their toys seem to work well with small children. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am fun-loving, flexible, creative, structured, and adventurous. Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include outside play for some exercise (weather permitting of course), reading, games, and preparing nutritious meals together. If asked to describe the perfect family seeking a Nanny like me from one of the Berks County Nanny Agencies I would hope they would be fun and welcoming!”

“Kathleen always takes time to speak and play with our children! She will ask them questions about what they are doing that day, encourages them with their hobbies and most of all, has an uncanny ability to make them laugh! This past summer Kathleen and her two teenage boys grew tomatoes and corn. Kathleen welcomed our children over to her yard, so that they could be a part of the planting and growing stages of these vegetables. Once the food was ready for picking, she invited all of the children to come pick the produce whenever they wanted. This is typical of Kathleen’s personality! From the time we have known Kathleen she has been a great neighbor, and a friendly voice. Without question, we trust her around our children and our children love to talk to her. Our children actually go out of their way to see when “Miss Kathleen” is home. We would certainly recommend Kathleen for a job as a nanny through one of the Berks County Nanny Agencies!”

“I have known Kathleen for approximately ten years since finding her through one of the Berks County Nanny Agencies. She has been a tremendous resource to me in assisting with my daughter, who has Williams Syndrome. As with many children with special needs, my daughter requires discipline but thrives in an environment of social connection and fun. Kathleen possesses a unique combination of qualities that enables her to provide both the structure and fun-factor that my daughter needs. Kathleen has routinely made herself available by helping with school work or by taking my daughter out to eat or shop. As my daughter has gotten older, Kathleen remains both a friend and supporter. My confidence in Kathy has been demonstrated by my entrusting my daughter to her care. She is hard working and resourceful and takes her responsibilities very seriously! Kathleen is also very patient, kind-hearted, and friendly in her approach. I would not hesitate to recommend her as a nanny!”

“I highly recommend Kathleen to any family seeking a Nanny from one of the Berks County Nanny Agencies! Eight years ago “Miss Kathy” as she was known, was my daughter Assistant Preschool Teacher. Not only was she warm and caring with the children, she was very helpful when it came to potty training, teaching them good manners, and preparing them for Kindergarten. Kathleen is an honest, trustworthy, hardworking person whom I would feel comfortable leaving my children with at any time! This was not easy for me in the beginning because my daughter has severe food allergies. I felt comfortable Kathleen would do the right thing if an emergency were to arise. You would be lucky to have Kathleen as a nanny! Good, honest, intelligent people are hard to find these days, and if you hire Kathleen, you will not be disappointed!”
