When days become repetitive at your Center City administrative job, consider applying as a nanny; no two days are the same!

Center City Nanny Job:

Part Time: Monday through Friday (1:30pm-7:30pm)
Children: 6 months old
Salary Offering: $13-$15 per hour
Note: We have a busy house of 2 dogs and a 6 month old boy
Children's Activities: Laughing at the dogs running around, trying to figure out how he knows that little man in the mirror; typical baby games!
Position Description: Caring for 6 month old infant’s wellbeing and entertainment. Feedings, naps, story time, motor skill and social development activities throughout the day. We encourage walks outside and trips to the park. If there is a full hamper of child’s laundry, we would appreciate that being taken care of, but we do not expect any other household chores to be done. The dogs need to be let out a couple times a day and have their water bowls filled occasionally.

PARENT REQUEST:

“We would like a caring, energetic nanny who likes being outdoors, and enjoys being around dogs. She would need to be comfortable with a busy environment, so even someone who is coming from a Center City administrative job would be great. Overall, we really want someone who will love our son as much as we do.”

Following through with the same mundane tasks every day at your Center City administrative job does not promote a sense of accomplishment. When the child you have been working with can finally color within the lines in his favorite coloring book due to your diligent practice with him – THAT is accomplishment! Families below speak of their experiences with nannies like you:

“I met Hannah while taking my daughter to her Gymboree Music Class and then we actually followed her to the Center City administrative job where she currently works because she was so wonderful! My daughter is three years old and absolutely loves Hannah! Hannah is full of energy, has an incredible love of life, and is wonderful with children! I am completely confident that any parents that hire Hannah as a Nanny will be more than pleased, and will wonder what they did without her!”

“Our family has known Martie for a few years, first through her Center City administrative job, and then as a private Nanny for our two children, ages three and five and our new adopted baby, now nine months. Martie stayed with our children numerous times and we cannot say enough good things about her. She is exceptional with children, reliable, trustworthy and can handle many tasks at once, including our two large and friendly dogs! She is not just a “babysitter” by any means. She incorporates fun activities and crafts with her care giving. She is creative and fun. My son never wanted her to leave and misses her now that we have moved to Virginia. She has a wonderful disposition for working with children of all ages. Her enthusiasm and energy are never-ending, and we miss her terrible. Shy will make a superb Nanny for any family and we have no hesitation recommending her for your services! The families she works with will be very lucky and blessed to have her!”

“Brenda is amazing! She cares for my 14 month old and 2 years old girls on occasion and is great. She is extremely dependable, reliable, and a whole lot of fun. She plays with my children and they enjoy her very much! She definitely takes initiative and is never late, which always amazes me because I know she is coming from her Center City administrative job. I completely trust Brenda and can’t recommend her highly enough!”

“Samantha interacts wonderfully with children (will all people actually, in her Center City administrative job)! My daughter, Lili, has adored Samantha ever since she met her! Samantha has the unique ability to communicate with children on their own level, and Lili recognized that from day one, (Lili tends to hold herself in reserve until she’s more familiar with a new person, but the reserve was not there with Samantha)! Classes led by Samantha were always extremely well attended, and parents raved about her because she was so wonderful with our children! She presents concepts and ideas to children in ways that excite them and make them want to participate and learn! There is vitality about Samantha that radiates to everyone she meets, but especially to children – her heart and soul belongs to children. Just watch her interact with a child and you will understand the connection that establishes almost immediately. In my experience, Samantha has proven to be a very forthright individual who follows through on her word. She’s always upbeat and energetic and commands the respect of the children she works with.”

“I had the pleasure of working with Lynn at a Center City administrative job for over 5 years, and then we both switched into a daycare facility. Lynn was an excellent Toddler and Preschool teacher. She is kind, caring, generous, and hardworking. Lynn is creative and was always willing to help co-workers think of new interesting ideas to implement in our lesson plans. The children were very receptive to Lynn’s warm, friendly, outgoing and nurturing personality. She was quick to help whenever I had an issue or concern, and was this way with all her coworkers. Whenever there was a staffing issue. Lynn was the first to volunteer her time and skills. In addition to being a strong and gifted teacher, Lynn is also an amazing person who is supportive to her colleagues and a team player. I feel confident in endorsing Lynn’s employment and feel that any school or family would fortunate to have her as an employee.”

“Onye is a loving, outgoing, talented individual who has formed an incredible bond with my daughter, Logan! She has taught my daughter to be a better friend to her classmates, how to “use her words” to communicate what she wants, as well as all sorts of important day to day social skills that a growing 2 year old should have. It is wonderful to see how much Onye loves children and it is amazing to see how she can bring herself to their level to relate with them and make them feel so individually special each and every day, especially considering that she came from a Center City administrative job. As a parent, I feel completely comfortable leaving Logan in her care, and she will be such an asset to anyone who has the pleasure of sharing a part of their lives with her!”
