“Tina’s performance in my classroom at a Center City Daycare Job demonstrated her commitment to teaching. She consistently planned effective lessons that met the needs of all instructional abilities in the classroom. She often incorporated a variety of resources and creative ideas to enhance her lessons. In addition to this, Tina was reflective and aware of her lesson implementation. She possessed the natural ability to "read" the students' responses to the material she was teaching, and adjusted where necessary to best meet the needs of all the students. Tina always utilized suggestions to improve instruction immediately, and accepted this feedback in a very professional manner. Tina enjoyed working with the students in my class. She built a positive rapport with them after only a few days in the classroom. Because of this, students responded to her with respect and admiration. She was able to create a non-threatening classroom environment in which the students felt comfortable asking and responding to questions. At the same time, Tina was able to manage discipline effectively with fair, consistent responses to each individual incident. I found Tina to be conscientious and dedicated in fulfilling her responsibilities as a professional semester student. She was self-motivated, hardworking, and willing to "go the extra mile" in order to plan and implement effective instruction. She also showed a great deal of awareness of the needs of each individual student. She faced challenges "head on" with the dedication a teacher has for her own students. I believe these qualities make her a strong candidate for a teaching position, and it is without reservation I write this recommendation. She will serve your children well!”

“Throughout her tenure, Deb demonstrated the utmost professionalism in her Center City Daycare Job and a strong work ethic indicative of an effective special educator. She met all the challenges with a positive attitude which was evident in her instruction and in all the materials she developed. Deb’s professional competencies include excellent planning, organizational skills, and the use of creative and teacher-made activities to enhance daily instruction. She studied the individual needs of the students and adapted instruction accordingly. Deb demonstrated a thorough understanding of the scheduling challenges and procedures in the Learning Support setting. Due to excellent planning and the understanding of the behavior expectations of her students, Deb was able to effectively teach her students with few off task behaviors. She was dependable, took initiative, presented herself in a mature manner and demonstrated problem solving skills!”

“Jane worked with my daughter Lacey at a Center City Daycare Job. Lacey, who is six years old, has multiple needs, since she has muscular dystrophy and suffered an in-utero stroke. These needs include self-help, speech, cognitive, and gross motor delays. Caitlin worked with Lacey on developing her skills! During the time she worked with Lacey, Jane exhibited a high level of professionalism and knowledge. She is extremely reliable, flexible, and hardworking! Any family would be fortunate to have such an enthusiastic, caring young woman as their childcare provider!”

“Katie was a caregiver for our son, and also cares for him at a Center City Daycare job. Katie has been a great asset to our family! She is very sweet and caring for Eli, and we feel very safe leaving him in her care at our house. Katie is also very flexible; she has watched him until 11pm after working at the daycare, but at other times stayed with him beginning at 7:30am on a Saturday. I also appreciate that she drives more than 25 minutes to work for us. In addition to being very loving to Eli, she has also respected his needs and always was able to get him to nap and to sleep when he needed it. Katie is a very responsive and intelligent caregiver that I would recommend to anyone! Katie is undoubtedly the best and most experience childcare provider we have used, and I recommend her without any reservations!”

”Lisa was by far the best childcare provider Joshua has ever had! The advantage of course being that Lisa was also one of Joshua’s daycare teachers at a Center City Daycare Job so he felt comfortable with her, trusted her, and genuinely loved being with her. When Joshua started gymnastics, Lisa took him for me and gave me a full update of how he did in the class. Lisa is such a nice person and genuinely loves children! As well as Lisa looking after my son at daycare and while I am at class, we also work together at the same daycare center, so I see firsthand how much she adores the kids and how well she works with them, which is why I asked her to watch Joshua privately. She is very loving and can almost always be seen holding, hugging or playing with a child! She has a very cool demeanor, which is, in my opinion, a valuable asset to have when working with children! She is patient, loving, fun, reliable, trustworthy and professional. She is the crème de le crème when it comes to Nannies!”

“My daughter’s teacher, Heather, is a wonderful caregiver who has been with my daughter for almost the entire two years that she has had her Center City Daycare Job. Lizzy ‘s time with Heather has helped her to grow and mature in ways that are beyond simple ‘daycare!’ Heather relates to my daughter in such a manner that assures me she would be an asset in any child-related field that she pursues. Heather is very patient, mature, extremely reliable, and caring. She’s also enthusiastic, energetic and she seems to put in the extra effort in play that the kids really enjoy! Many times I’ve arrived to take my daughter home and find Heather dancing or playing dress up. She seems well versed in child development and has a natural affinity for guiding children in my daughter’s age group, although I have seen her work with other classes and she seems comfortable with all ages! She relates to my daughter in such a compassionate and kind way that I feel very at ease dropping her off, and I know that Lizzy loves being with her! Heather is very easy-going and seems to have success teaching our daughter skills such as counting and spelling as well as encouraging her to create art projects and engage in imaginary play. We believe her methods compliment our parenting style. She respects our personal philosophies, but is confident enough to make day-to-day decisions regarding Lizzy’s education. We have also had Cate baby-sit for us in our home, and we trust her implicitly. Since starting daycare, Lizzy is happy, thriving and interacts well with other kids. We like to believe that this is due to the wonderful care that she has received from Heather. When she decides to move on, she will truly be missed!”
