A Delaware County baby doula job proves to be rewarding when caring for the baby, but heartbreaking at the end of an assignment. Apply for a local nanny position and stay with a family for years to come!

Delaware County Nanny Job:

Full Time: Monday through Friday (7:30am – 5:30pm)
Children: Newborn twins, 3 year old, and 2 school age boys
Salary Offering: $625-$800/week, Based on Experience
Note: Mother is currently on maternity leave; they would like a nanny to start before the twins are born, and transition while mom is still at home
Children's Activities: The infant twins - none at this time. Possibly music later in their first year. The school age boys - sports, piano and Kumon - parents take them to these activities.
Position Description: Primary responsibilites include the care of twin infants born soon and care for two school age boys (first grade and third grade - walking them to and from bus stop down the street each school day). With respect to the school age boys - watch them from 7:30 - 8:30 AM and between 3:00 - 5:30 PM each day. Make sure they do homework, get a snack and play outside (supervised) until parents come home. We also have a 3 year old daughter who will be in preschool full time - the nanny would not be caring for her unless she has to stay home sick one day - and in that case, depending on how sick a parent may stay home to care for her. We would expect the nanny to be responsible for light housekeeping, including food preparation for the twins and snack for the boys, picking up toys etc. each day (house should be in neat order each day upon departure), laundry for the children (wash and fold), maintaining shopping list and supplies (employer will do shopping) and transportation to activities although we do not anticipate much, if at all during the twins first year.

PARENT REQUEST:

"Seeking someone responsible, dependable, experienced with infants and twins, patient, caring, respectful, motivated and mature with common sense. If employment history contains experience in a Delaware County baby doula job, preference will be given."

As you may know from your experience at a baby doula job in Delaware County, parents are in need of childcare long after their baby is born. Be part of the joy of childhood by remaining with the family in a permanent nanny position! Nannies with experience like yours are boasted about below:

“Ann is absolutely wonderful with infants. I initially hired her when I was pregnant with my first child to fill my Delaware County baby doula job. She helped me when I had my first baby through the first 6 months. She stayed overnight the first few after that she came every day to help. She has had a lot of babies herself so she was actually able to give me a lot of helpful advice. She knows almost everything there is to know about babies and children. She is very motherly, well rounded and fits into the household. Ann balances playing with the children, talking with them, and making sure they take care of their responsibilities also straightening of the house/household. She is always flexible if we have to change her schedule and she is even open when we have an emergency and I would drop off one of my children with her. I have found her to be very moral and health conscious. She always tries to have the children eat healthy food and have outside time every day. It is nice that I don't have to give her instruction every time - she understands what I expect and does a good job meeting those expectations.”

“Claudette went above and beyond her job requirements to help me with absolutely anything that I needed pertaining to my new daughter when she was hired for my Delaware County baby doula job. She taught me things that I needed to know as a new mother and I still use them to this day. When Claudette came to me I was a new mother. She helped me learn everything that I needed to know to raise a healthy baby (from diapering to differentiating between different cries). She taught me everything that my own mother would have taught had she been able to do so. I valued her experience and expertise and i highly recommend her! Any family would be lucky to have her!”

“Donna was very accommodating to my family! She did many overnights when the children were first born, as she was working my Delaware County baby doula job. She was an asset and instant addition to our family. If anyone is able to hire her, they should consider themselves fortunate. My children were cared for as if they were her own. I have never experienced such a level of confidence in an individual and never had a worry when the children were "with" Donna. She is a breath of fresh air and energy when it comes to the world of child caregivers. Donna will always be a cherished part of our family. I can only hope that other families have such a positive and rewarding experience. I would strongly recommend her for a nanny position!”

“Cathy was the best of everything; she met my girl’s needs and mine in our baby doula job in Delaware County. She was able to take control when necessary to give me the break I so desperately needed, but helped me gain the skills I needed at being a first time mom especially with the overwhelming feeling of having twins. Our experience with Cathy was 100% positive. She helped me provide a nurturing environment for two little babies, and helped me with every aspect of being a first time mom. My girls are now 5 and we still keep in touch with Cathy...she will always be a part of our lives!”

“We hired Tammy to fill our Delaware County baby doula job prior to the birth of our son and cannot say enough wonderful things about her capabilities as a doula and as an invaluable resource to me during this period of adjustment. Tammy has been with our family since our son’s birth and offered us education, companionship and nonjudgmental support as I was recovering from a C-section. She was always calm and soothing – no matter what was happening around her. She assisted us with newborn care, family adjustment since we had been alone for nearly 20 years and this was a big change for us, as well as meal preparation and light housekeeping. She demonstrated how to feed our infant, often helped me with emotional and physical recovery from Jacob’s birth, and showed us infant soothing and coping skills, so that we could confidently handle our child when he would begin to cry. I have often referred to her as ‘the baby whisperer’ because of her unique ability to calm Jacob and get him to sleep. Tammy would definitely be a valuable asset to any new mother! We recently went on a trip to the islands and brought Tammy with us to help with Jacob. She has truly become a part of our family and Jacob adores her. If I could, I would keep Tammy with us until our son was in college!”
