Lehigh County Nanny Job:

Part Time: Monday through Friday (2:30pm-7:30pm)
Children: 4 boys! 1 year old, 2 years old, 5 years old and 6 years old.
Salary Offering: $13-$15/hr. based on experience
Note: Having worked in a daycare setting before is a bonus!
Children's Activities: My two older sons, Charlie and Jeffrey, have tae kwon do two afternoons a week and will likely have soccer and/or swimming lessons once a week.
Position Description: Put the absolute safety and happiness of the children first before all other responsibilities. Tend to children’s basic needs such as feeding, dressing, changing diapers, brushing teeth, bathing and bedtime routine. Prepare meals or snacks, in accordance with dietary restrictions of family, for children during scheduled hours; clean up kitchen and dining table when completed. Participate and supervise age appropriate activities with children, which would include library, walks, play dates, playground outings, reading to children daily, and assistance with homework (kindergarten level). Use Family automobile to drive children to activities and events or pick up from school. Run errands related to children- if timing allows and if necessary (if run out of milk etc.). Administer medicine, when necessary, to children as directed by Family.

PARENT REQUEST:

“As a stay at home mom, I am looking for someone to be a partner in caring for the needs of my children during the afterschool hours until bedtime. I am looking for an energetic, intelligent nanny that will take the initiative to figure out what she can do to be helpful. Since I will be at home for a significant amount of the time the nanny will be working, I am looking for someone that can tackle the agreed upon responsibilities as a team and be flexible in her role in the day to day. Common sense is a must! I have been blessed with very sweet, bright, well-behaved boys with goofy, fun, senses of humor. I think any nanny with prior experience at a Lehigh County daycare job will find that the challenges they will face with my boys will not be behavioral- rather just sheer numbers! So, as I try to divide my time between my four children, I am looking for a nanny that will take the time to make sure each child has their needs met when I am tending to another. It will be a team effort!”

If you currently have a Lehigh County Daycare Job, your experience working with multiple children at a time would be perfect for a nanny position exactly like this one! Please read the following shining reviews provided by parents who have recommended nannies with abilities just like yours!

“Crystal exceeded her job requirements! I loved having her as a Nanny, and felt completely comfortable having her with my children! I do not let just anyone stay with my children, and I am very picky about who I trust with them. I would recommend Crystal to anyone! She is polite and professional and communicates well. She would inform us of anything that came up during the day and would even tell us if we were running low on anything for the children. She was also in charge of taking care or our 2 dogs during the day and handled these tasks with ease. One day she was taking the children outside to play, and could not find the sun block and hats. She called to find their location. I loved this because it was important enough for her to do it right and protect the children first! Her alert and attentive personality shined through, and I loved that she had gained the experience to know that from a Lehigh County daycare job!”

“Julia is a primary caregiver for 4 children and was responsible for knowing daily schedules for 16 infants at her Lehigh County daycare job before working with us! She carries out daily needs such as feeding, changing and napping. She writes daily notes to us, takes our children on walks, plans developmental activities, and communicates everything to us. She was the primary caregiver for my son specifically from the time he was 8 weeks old until he turned 18 months old. Julia is responsible, dependable, nurturing and took care of him like a second mom. I was always comfortable leaving him in her care.”

“Mariah was Ryan’s teacher/caregiver at our daycare center, in the infant room. She cares for babies from 6 weeks old until they transition at around 18 months old. Mariah was responsible for multi-tasking caregiver duties such as dressing, diapering, bottle-feeding, breakfast and lunch preparation, naps, and soothing all at a 4 to 1 student to teacher ratio at this Lehigh County daycare job. She also designed and carried out a daily curriculum for this diverse age group, with lots of physical activities for the toddlers and buggy rides for the babies. To be able to coordinate the needs of all of the children in a large center such as this particular Bright Horizons takes a lot of talent, and Mariah has it! I loved that she took so much interest in every single child’s development. In addition to her excellent note keeping, she always had a wonderful anecdote for parents at the end of the day. She was always smiling, and never seemed tired. She truly makes the children feel at ease, and I think the other parents, in addition to myself, felt very lucky to have her as a teacher and caregiver for our children. I was very sad when Ryan transitioned out of her room, but grateful for the experience he had with her and any family would be lucky to have someone of her caliber care for their children!”

“As someone who had their child in the infant room at the daycare where Marie worked, I had a lot of daily interactions with Marie. While she was not the primary caregiver to my child, she was an integral part in my daughter’s day-to-day activities while working at her Lehigh County daycare job. She was excited every day and was a positive influence on my daughter. As a parent, I feel Marie fulfilled all job requirements as a caregiver in the infant room at the daycare and would be ideal in a nanny position too! She was always helpful when I had questions about the daily activities in the room, and was always telling stories about things my daughter did throughout the day.”

“Lynette and I worked in the Infant classroom together at our Lehigh County daycare job. While we worked together Lynette was creative and professional. She took a great interest in the well-being of the infants we cared for, and she created a warm and nurturing environment for all staff and children! She is a great person and amazing with children! Any family that hires her will be lucky to have her!”
