Nanny, montgomery

ABC Nannies like Kristen use their experience as a Montgomery County Mothers Helper to create a positive experience for both the parents and children.

“I love working with children of all ages and have been a full time Montgomery County Mothers Helper for nine years. The reason I want to be a nanny is because I love teaching and helping children. If I was asked to describe in one sentence the reason I have chosen to be in the Nanny profession over any other it would have to be because you get a one on one relationship with the children you take care of. I have been serving in some form of childcare experience for over eight years and can honestly say I love what I do! I feel that children are so impressionable; they need a person in their lives who will make sure that they are taken care of when their parents are at work. My goals as a Nanny is to make sure that the children I watch are taken care of and loved,to do what I can to help the parents, and make their lives easier. I am willing to do housekeeping that includes cleaning up after the children. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives I would say that I am caring, compassionate, patient, friendly, and respectful. Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include library time, playing outside, and doing projects(finger painting, drawing). If asked to describe the perfect family seeking a Nanny like me I would hope they would be caring, helpful, and very close."

“Kristen is great with both of my children as a Montgomery County Mothers Helper. She has really great instincts and a lot of patience. Kristen can get my daughter to listen and follow a routine, which is amazing to me because my daughter can be a big handful. Kristen is very creative with keeping my daughter entertained from having her help make pizza for lunch to taking her to the pool and playground as well as doing crafts and reading books. I have seen her interact with children of all ages and she is so good with ever age group. Children naturally flock to her and are enthusiastic to play, yet at the same time they all listen to her and respect her authority.”

“Kristen was a wonderful Montgomery County Mothers Helper. She took excellent care of my children and I never had to worry about them while they were in her care. They loved having her here and we still stay in touch with her. Kristen was very dependable. She came to work every day and took excellent care of my children. She was very responsible and did my job for my children when I couldn’t be there with them. I would highly recommend her to any family with young children. She is very responsible and has wonderful, nurturing qualities.”

“Kristen went above and beyond for our family as a Montgomery County Mothers Helper. Knowing that she had a daughter of her own, and that she had been a nanny for many years to a family of two challenging boys, I knew that she would provide excellent care for our daughter. During first few weeks, Kristen came to our house with her daughter to watch my daughter. She surprised us a few times by doing the dishes without being asked, because she knew that we had a long day and just wanted to help out. After a few weeks, we all decided that it would be easier for us to bring my daughter to her house for the day, because Kristen had started taking classes on Mondays and Wednesdays, so when the girls napped, she would be able to study for her exams. Kristen was the ultimate multi-tasker; she balanced her academics, job search, and home life and, on top of that, made sure that she provided the girls with very interesting days! She would cook and bake with the girls, text both my husband and I pictures of the fun activities she was doing with them, and even surprise us with projects that they had done during the day. She would take the girls on little trips to the park, playground, store and library! Kristen was very good about keeping with my daughter's daily schedule, feeding her nutritious meals and being in constant communication with us. My daughter loved going to see her two days a week and misses spending that time with her each week. She is a great caregiver, and a great friend, and any family would be lucky to have her!”
