Additionally, many things can be discussed that are not on the registration form including the energy level of the nanny desired, the education credentials expected, tthe flexibility of schedule that may be necessary, and your availability to interview candidates.

After your Placement Counselor has spoken with you and has a good working knowledge of the needs of your family, she will then work with a team of counselors and recruiters to select only the nannies that meet your specifications. Your Placement Counselor will then begin contacting these NYC based, qualified nanny candidates to arrange for interviews with your family. Your placement counselor will keep you fully informed regarding her progress each day. Once your counselor has scheduled interviews with candidates, she will contact you with said schedule and the detailed electronic profiles of the candidates you will be meeting with. Your counselor will also be sure to confirm your reception of these profiles and is always available to discuss any comments you may have! The profiles are very detailed, and include: a picture of the candidate, the description she gave regarding why she has chosen the nanny profession, letters of reference the agency has verified along with appropriate contact numbers, prior childcare employment experience, educational achievements, teaching assignments, special needs experiences, multi-lingual capabilities and even fingerprints! Everything you will need to know about the nanny you are meeting will be provided to you in advance to be sure you feel completely comfortable and capable of conducting a thorough and detailed interview with the proposed candidate!
