“I’m very laid-back, I love to laugh and I always try to see the bright side in a bad situations. I can be a goofball but only when its appropriate. I like working with children. I worked in a childcare facility and it was maybe 12 children to a teacher but I love that being a Cobb Count Governess would be a better setting for one-on-one care. The reason I have chosen to be in the Nanny/Governess profession over any other is because I have a love and appreciation for children. I have been serving in some form of childcare for over 8 years and can honestly say that I love what I do! I am willing to do housekeeping that includes light housekeeping, meal prepping, and even laundry. If I had to describe myself in five adjectives, I would say that I am honest, thoughtful, fun, silly, and direct. Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include a daily routine going over a lesson each day like us reading books, going over flashcards, doing crafts, and taking walks! If asked to describe the perfect family seeking a Cobb County Governess like me, I would hope they would be courteous and thoughtful.”

“For the five years she worked here, she prepared meals, washed dishes and tidied up, helped with homework, and would assist with any heavy cleaning that was needed. She knows how to treat individuals according to their personalities and needs. I have never seen her get impatient with our children. I’ve known her for 34 years as her neighbor and in the time, she provided she would work full time from 7:30 am until 5 pm caring for my children and others that were between the ages of 6 months and 14 years old. I found her to be committed to doing her best during her time with my family and I felt she went above and beyond what was necessary.”

“I had a great experience with her, and I hated to see her leave. We have known each other for eleven years and she worked with me for six of those years on a full-time basis caring for children in a childcare center where the ages varied from 2.5 to 5 years of age. She would come in each day at 7:30 am and stay until 5 pm. I think she did wonderfully care for their daily needs and entertaining them. I found her to be punctual and loyal. She has an educator’s mindset and a ton of creativity. In my opinion, she fulfilled all the job requirements pertaining to her position. Her entertainment skills for handling different aged children are unmatched. She loves what she does for a living - helping and caring for children! She is great with helping when a child is stuck on their homework, is a good cook, and she does well at keeping the room tidy. Watching children from 4 to 5 years old can be tough, but she does it with a smile and a well cleaned class! She vacuums, dusts, and does the heavy cleaning as needed. She is very loving and kind! I feel she is truly a smart individual who would do well with any family!”

“She is very reliable and always eager to help. She works more than 40 hours per week when needed and is understanding when we need more help. No job is too big or too small for her. She is resourceful, creative, and qualified to watch after children! Her considerate nature is a plus to coworkers, friends, and employers! She is a pleasure to work with. We have been friends for a decade now and I’ve seen her watch over children from 2.5 to 12 years old and put in 8 to 10 hours or more a day. Her responsibilities included child's meal preparation and homework assistance.”
